Track your vehicles.
See activity in real-time: Engine on, off, driving, go, stop, idling, speeding, towing, and more. All fleet activity is saved on our servers. Look back days, weeks, months, even years in the past, to see where your vehicles were, how long they were there, and what they were doing. Read more...
-
Real-time
GPS Police tracking is live tracking. Unlike passive tracking or data loggers, vehicles report activity in real-time, as it happens, over-the-air. (The kind of activity reported depends on your current airtime plan. See Airtime Plans for a comparison.)
-
Coverage
Coverage comprises Rogers and AT&T networks. If a vehicle leaves network coverage, vehicle activity is stored. When the vehicle returns to network coverage, stored activity is reported and live tracking resumes.
-
Historical
Vehicle activity is saved for five years in our secure data centre, unless otherwise requested. You can look up historical activity weeks, months, even years in the past to see where a vehicle was on a particular day, at a particular time, and what it was doing.
-
Engine on, off
See when a vehicle stops and the engine is turned off or turned on. You'll get important details like: exact time and location, engine off duration, trip duration and distance.
-
Go, stop
Vehicles report each "short" stop and go—that is, each time the vehicle stops moving and remains stationary for 60 seconds or more while the engine is running, as well as the next time it continues driving ("go"). This is useful because many vehicles make "mini-trips" during one long ignition cycle. You'll get important details like: exact time and location, stop duration, previous mini-trip duration and distance.
-
Driving
Vehicles report their location while driving, including exact time and location, speed and heading. Update frequency depends on your Airtime Plan: With the Mini plan, Driving Updates occur on average every two minutes. With the Pro plan, on average every 30 seconds.
-
Speeding
Vehicles report speeding when they exceed a certain speed limit (typically 123 kph or 76 mph, which you can change).
-
Idling
Vehicles report when they idle longer than 10 minutes.
-
Trip routes
See the path a vehicle is driving (or drove) from one place to another. The Trip Routes feature is a historical view of vehicles Driving Updates. Each blue arrow is a Driving Update. You can click the little blue arrows to see the vehicles speed at that place and time.
-
Smart work
Smart Work, designed for heavy equipment, lets you know when equipment is actually working and not just idling. Smart Work reports activity such as digging, moving and grading—with location, time, and durations, all independent of the engine running.
-
Hard-driving
Vehicles report when driven dangerously: Hard acceleration, hard braking, and hard turns — all signs of potentially unsafe driving behaviour.
-
Possible collision
Vehicles report in the event of extreme g-force, which could mean a collision or roll-over.
-
Tow alert
If a vehicle is moved while its ignition, it will report a tow alert, which sometimes indicates theft in-progress.
-
Tamper alert
Vehicles report if the tracking device is tampered with, including: power cable disconnected, antenna disconnected (cut), and ignition wire bypassed.
-
Daily check-in
When a vehicle is inactive for a few days, it will begin reporting its location daily.
-
Enhanced maps
At any time, you can switch between Google Maps and Open Street Maps, including Google Road, Satellite, Hybrid, Terrain, and Open Street Maps A and B. In addition to seeing where vehicles are on the map, vehicles' approximate street address is displayed, in addition to latitude and longitude.
-
Street view
Click Street view to see a 3D photographic view from your vehicles perspective. (Note: Street view is not available in all areas.)
-
Landmarks
Landmarks are a way of tagging locations or areas that are important to your business. A Landmark can refer to a building address, a job site, a town, city—any area of any size. Landmarks are useful for knowing where vehicles are (or have been) in relation to business locations, such as customers, suppliers and/or unauthorized areas.
-
DLS addressing
For companies operating vehicles in rural Alberta or Saskatchewan, the Domain Land Survey (DLS), also known as Legal Subdivision (LSD) or Alberta Township System, is very useful. With DLS, vehicles report not only their approximate street address (Rutherford Rd SW, Edmonton, AB), but also their LSD coordinates: 15-19-051-24 W4.

Dispatch makes it easy for users in the office to communicate with drivers in the field — while keeping everyone aware of what's going on. -
Mileage
The Mileage report displays vehicle mileage (in KM or miles). You can view mileage summarized daily, weekly, monthly, just weekends — whatever you want. Make a comparison report, or focus on just one vehicle to view its activity in detail.
-
Engine hours
Engine hours reporting is important for companies operating heavy equipment.
-
Fuel economy
The Fuel report displays estimated fuel consumption and cost for each vehicle—a range between highway and city driving, calculated according to each vehicles rated mileage, the distance driven, and fuel cost. Fuel reports are used to reconcile or audit fuel receipts and expose fuel theft.
-
Landmarks
Landmarks report displays how many times and for long the vehicle was at a certain location, helping to identify excessive lunch breaks or time spent at inappropriate places.
-
Speeding
The Speeding report displays the number of times and duration a vehicle exceeds the speed limit, including date, time, location and speed.
-
Fastest speed of the day
This report displays vehicles fastest speed of the day.

-
Driving
The Driving report lets you see which vehicles are driving fastest, even if none actually exceed proLINKs built-in speed limit (130 kph or 80 mph by default).
